Photovoice Impact Report

The Photovoice project experienced expansive growth between January 1, 2021, and June 30, 2023:

  • 23 groups of diverse youth across seven different participating agencies

  • 215 youth trained to be catalysts of change to raise awareness and motivate action to prevent and reduce underage problem gambling

  • Over two hundred caregivers received education through Photovoice on the importance of underage problem gambling prevention

A total of 14,478 community members have been exposed to prevention messaging through Photovoice, including how to promote help-seeking behavior for those needing support.

Ambassador Project Impact Report

The Ambassador Project’s reach and impact grew to new levels between January 1, 2021, to June 30, 2023, engaging over 8,000 individuals:

  • 2,949 individuals received prevention education through small groups and one-on-one discussions.

  • 3,140 individuals received this education through community events and presentations

  • 2,009 individuals were connected to the Ambassador Project through the distribution of gambling prevention materials

A total of 173 organizations were engaged in discussions about problem gambling within their communities.
