Asian American and Pacific Islander Empowerment Project (AAPI)

The AAPI Empowerment Project increases awareness and educates individuals, families, and community members about gambling and related harms.

To further their mission, AAPI hosted a variety of recreational programs, from karaoke to ping pong, attracting more than 100 community members!

These social supports serve as both an alternative to gambling and a tool to build community cohesion.

In addition to these events, Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center partnered with the Tufts COHERE program to host a Problem Gambling and Behavioral Considerations workshop, engaging 34 trainees ranging in age from 18 to 70.

Thank you to the continued support of our community partners!
