OPGS Public Awareness Efforts to be Showcased at Upcoming Conferences

Please join us in congratulating our communications partner, Argus, who has been accepted to present our problem gambling campaigns at two upcoming conferences!

  •  National Conference on Health Communication, Marketing, and Media

    • July 28-30 in Atlanta, GA

    • The National Conference, co-hosted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Public Health Information Coalition, brings together people representing academia, public health research, public health practitioners, and communication professionals to share advances in the field of health communication. Argus will provide a presentation on problem gambling as a public health issue and discuss how using public awareness campaigns can elevate the issue.

  • American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting

    • November 2-5 in Washington, DC

    • The APHA annual meeting convenes about 12,000 public health professionals and partners from around the world. At this conference, Argus will discuss using public awareness to address problem gambling as a public health issue. Additionally, they will highlight campaigns developed for OPGS, which include Asian Americans, men in their 20s, college students, and more.
