OPGS contracts with community organizations to provide services to individuals and families throughout Massachusetts to prevent and mitigate gambling-related harms. Check out our complete list of vendors below to get a better understanding of the programming that is happening at the Office.
The Massachusetts Center of Excellence for Problem Gambling Prevention (MCOE) provides curriculum development, subject matter expertise, trainings, and technical assistance for OPGS prevention programs. MCOE is administered by Education Development Center.
The Massachusetts Technical Assistance Center (M-TAC) provides training, capacity building, and technical support for OPGS treatment and recovery programs. M-TAC is administered by Health Resources in Action (HRIA).

The OPGS quarterly newsletter provides information on OPGS programing and upcoming events. The newsletter also includes a resource library. Archived newsletters can be found on the OPGS website.
Vendors can order marketing materials by visiting the OPGS Clearinghouse.
OPGS’ Youth and Parents toolkit, ‘Let’s Talk Risk’ provides guidance for how to talk about gambling with your child. Vendors are encouraged to share this toolkit with their communities.
The “Let’s Get Real About Gambling” toolkit provides downloadable resources and materials for OPGS partners and vendors. These web and print assets can be used on webpages and social media platforms to spread public awareness and promote a public health response to problem gambling.
The Massachusetts Problem Gambling Helpline provides support to individuals and loved ones impacted by problem gambling. The Massachusetts Problem Gambling Helpline is integrated with the MA Substance Use Helpline in order to streamline the helpline services provided to individuals with substance use disorder and/or problem gambling. Specialists are available 24/7. Vendors are encouraged to share this resource with their communities.
