Public Health Connect Webinar

On October 29, Public Consulting Group (PCG) hosted OPGS and the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC) on their Public Health Connect Conversation series. The webinar, "From Risk to Resilience: 10 Years of MA OPGS Innovations and Community" featured guest speakers Victor Ortiz, Director of the MA DPH OPGS, and Ben Hires, CEO of BCNC.

The event drew 125 attendees from a variety of organizations across the Commonwealth in addition to out-of-state agencies. It explored problem gambling through a public health lens, emphasizing its impact on communities and the importance of informed intervention. Participants learned about OPGS’ evolution, community partnerships, and innovative programs, such as Project RISE and AAPI Empowerment Project with BCNC, that address health disparities and advance social justice.
